Free Eye Camp Serves Over 200 Residents in Pitampura, Promotes Vision and Health Awareness
New Delhi, June 29, 2025 – A free eye camp was held on Sunday at Rajasthali Apartment Health Centre, near Pitampura Metro Station, attracting 201 participants from the local community. The initiative was organized by the Delhi Pradesh Marwari Sammelan, under the leadership of its president Shri Rajesh Singhal, in collaboration with MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital, reaffirming their joint commitment to accessible eye care and public health awareness.
The camp offered a wide range of essential eye care services, with a focus on early diagnosis and preventive treatment. In addition, BP and sugar tests were conducted as part of a health awareness initiative, encouraging participants to stay informed about their general well-being.
132 Refraction Assessments: Eye exams were conducted to detect vision impairments and prescribe corrective measures.
28 Retinopathy Diagnoses: Specialized screenings led to the identification of several cases requiring further attention.
248 Vials of Eye Drops Distributed: Patients received necessary medications for managing common eye conditions.
BP & Sugar Tests for Over 200 Participants: Conducted to raise awareness about basic health indicators and their connection to eye health.
24 Cataract Referrals: Individuals diagnosed with cataracts were referred for free surgeries at MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital, ensuring continued care.
