Free Vision Care & Cataract Surgery Camp

Free Eye Check-up & Cataract Camp Organized by G-9 Foundation in Collaboration with MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital

On Saturday, September 7, 2025, the G-9 Jansewa Foundation, in partnership with MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital, successfully organized a Free Eye Check-up and Cataract Operation Camp at Ambedkar Dharamshala, Khader, New Shiv Mandir, Haiderpur, Delhi – 110088.

The camp received an overwhelming response, with more than 287 people from the local community availing free eye care and general health services. The initiative reflected the shared mission of both organizations—delivering accessible healthcare and enhancing the well-being of underserved communities.

Key Highlights of the Camp

• 186 Vision Screenings (Refraction Tests) conducted, with corrective prescriptions provided.
• 8 Retinopathy Cases identified and referred for advanced treatment.
• 218 Vials of Eye Drops distributed for common eye ailments.
• 39+ Blood Pressure & Sugar Tests carried out to raise awareness about general health.
• 31 Patients Referred for Free Cataract Surgery at MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital.
• 180 Spectacles were Distributed, enabling better vision for those in need.

In addition to eye check-ups, the inclusion of BP and sugar level tests emphasized the crucial link between overall health and eye conditions. The camp not only addressed immediate medical needs but also created greater awareness about preventive healthcare.
