Free Eye Check-up, Spectacle Distribution & Cataract Operation Camp, Organised by G9 Jansewa Foundation New

 

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, G9 Foundation, in association with MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital, successfully organized a Free Eye Check-up, Cataract Operation, and Spectacle Distribution Camp at Devraj Narayan Public School, Swami Shradhanand Colony, Bhalaswa Dairy, Delhi – 110042.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 288 community members benefiting from comprehensive eye care and general health services.

This initiative reflected the shared commitment of both organizations toward providing accessible healthcare and promoting community well-being through preventive and curative services.

Key Highlights:

·         221 Refraction Tests Conducted: Vision screening and corrective prescriptions provided.

·         06 Retinopathy Cases Identified: Patients guided for advanced ophthalmic treatment.

·         295 Eye Drop Vials Distributed: To address common eye-related conditions.

·         43+ Blood Pressure & Sugar Tests Performed: Promoting awareness of systemic health factors affecting vision.

·         20 Cataract Cases Referred: Patients directed to MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital for free cataract surgeries.

·         192 Spectacles Distributed: Supporting individuals requiring vision correction.

In addition to eye examinations, the camp also included free blood pressure and sugar level tests, emphasizing the importance of holistic wellness by linking general health with eye health.
