Eye Screening at Chotu Ram Public School by Lions Club Kohinoor
On 27th August 2025, a Comprehensive Eye Screening Camp was successfully held at Chotu Ram Public School, Bakhtawarpur, Delhi – 110036. The initiative was jointly organized by Lions Club Kohinoor in collaboration with MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital, with the goal of promoting eye health and preventive care among students and staff.
The camp, conducted from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, saw an overwhelming response with 905 participants, including students, teachers, and staff, benefitting from the screenings.
Key Highlights
- 157 refractions were conducted to ensure accurate vision assessment and prescription.
- 15 vials of eye drops distributed to treat minor eye conditions.
- 10 cases were referred to MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital for advanced investigations and treatment.
This impactful initiative reflects the Lions Club’s enduring commitment to preventive healthcare. By combining service, care, and compassion, the camp not only raised awareness about eye health but also made a tangible difference in the lives of the school community.
