Free Eye Check-up & Cataract Camp at Qutabgarh, Delhi
On Saturday, September 13, NPCB&IV Delhi Government (North District), in collaboration with MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital, organized a Free Eye Check-up and Cataract Operation Camp at the MCD Dispensary, Qutabgarh. The camp saw an excellent response, with more than 329 people from the local community receiving free eye and general health services.
This effort reflects the shared goal of both organizations to provide accessible healthcare and improve community well-being.
Camp Highlights
- 223 Vision Screenings (Refraction Tests) with corrective prescriptions
- 16 Retinopathy Cases Detected and referred for advanced treatment
- 345 Eye Drop Vials Distributed for common eye problems
- 67+ Blood Pressure & Sugar Tests conducted to promote awareness of overall health
- 55 Patients Referred for Free Cataract Surgery at MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital
- 245 Free Spectacles Distributed to those in need
Alongside eye check-ups, the camp offered free BP and sugar tests, underscoring the link between overall health and eye conditions.
