Free School Eye Screening Camp by Lions Club Kohinoor
A Comprehensive Eye Screening Camp was organized on November 1, 2025, at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mungeshpur, Delhi, jointly by Lions Club Kohinoor and MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital. The initiative aimed to promote eye health awareness and preventive care among students and staff.
The camp was conducted from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and witnessed an enthusiastic response from the school community. A total of 338 participants, including students, teachers, and staff, underwent detailed eye examinations.
Highlights of the Camp:
- 80 Refractions Conducted – Ensuring accurate vision assessment and prescriptions.
- 30 Eye Drop Vials Distributed – For treating minor eye conditions and promoting eye hygiene.
This impactful initiative reflected the Lions Club’s steadfast commitment to preventive healthcare. By combining service, compassion, and community outreach, the camp not only enhanced awareness about eye care but also contributed significantly to the well-being of the school’s students and faculty.
