On February 1, 2026, the G9 Foundation, in collaboration with the renowned MojiRam Lions Eye Hospital, hosted a transformative Free Vision Check-up and Cataract Referral Camp. Held at the Shiv Mandir, Kabir Nagar, A8/36, Rana Pratap Bagh, Delhi, the event served as a critical lifeline for community members seeking essential eye care.
Bridging the Gap in Healthcare
For many residents of Rana Pratap Bagh and surrounding neighbourhoods, specialized eye care can be difficult to access. This initiative brought advanced diagnostics directly to the heart of the community, combining eye health with general wellness screenings for a holistic approach to patient care.
Services provided at the camp included:
- Comprehensive Eye Exams: Refraction testing, dry eye evaluation, and retina screening using portable Fundus equipment.
- Specialized Screenings: Targeted checks for Diabetic Retinopathy.
- Preventive Care: On-site blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring.
- Free Treatments: Distribution of prescription eyeglasses and medicinal eye drops.
